Another week comes and goes‏

I just want to start out saying.
THIS IS GOING BY WAY WAY TO FAST.

I can't believe we are about half way through another transfer. I blink and i miss a transfer (transfers are 6 weeks periods). this past wee after emails we got a referral from bishop webster and told us to get on it fast no waiting around so we did just that had a lesson on our pday and meet this lady her name is Katie she is amazing she went with us to both sessions of stake conference and she is amazing that is all i can say. Sister murdock extended her FRIST baptismal invite to Katie (GO SISTER MURDOCK) and the spirit was so strong that first lesson and is so strong every lesson we have had with her. We meet another referral that we got last week on Tuesday her name is Rosa she moved her and her husbands boss is LDS and he referred her name and we meet her and she had been having the lessons from elders in her last area. She too is amazing he is married and has 4 kids 2 of which are baptismal age and one that is blind. they are an amazing family:) we also had a lesson with a lady and her daughter that i have been trying to get into see since my first week here and that lesson fell through. But persistence pays off in the end:) Thursday i had a Leadership Training meeting which was from 10am - 4pm, so Sister Murdock and i went on a temporary exchange she went to deer valley and i went with one of the sisters that was going from deer valley and it was so cool we got to go to the temple site for the phoenix az temple because we meet in the church building that was right next to it. :) it is so cool and I am so excited for it to get done. I will be coming back for it:) the meeting was a long day but learned lots of great things that are going to help the missionary work continue to roll forward:)Friday we had district meeting and weekly planning because I ha that other meeting on Thursday. but that night we had a lesson with Camille she is a recent convert that got baptized on the 24 of February:) and then had a lesson with Princess who is 8 and her aunt is Rita and we baptized Rita's daughter Patience on the 31st of December and new we are teaching Princess and i must just say it is hard to teach a person that does not know all of the lds vocabulary and then to add a 8 year old that does not know a lot of large vocabulary that you can understand and we share with older investigators. teaching her is hard. We find ourselves putting our thinking/ creative caps on when teaching her. For example we meet in the park on Saturday and taught the plan of salvation on the side walk with sidewalk chalk (will be hopefully getting pictures soon). Princess is going to be getting baptized on the 24th of this month and we are supper excited for her. this Wednesday we have a sisters training meeting which means all the sisters in the mission come together and have training...... which means....... I GET TO SEE HERMANA BROWN AND THE SISTERS THAT CAME OUT WITH ME:) so excited for that got to run have a great week and remember keep an "EYE SINGLE TO THE GLORY OF GOD"

Sister (Dani) Robinson

week of March 5, 2012‏

Well hello again, another week has come and gone. We did a lot of finding to build our pool of potential investigators again. We meet with a referrals on Tuesday and then found our that they had bedbugs on Thursday..... GROSS. We did not get them though thank heavens. Bed bugs are really bad out here everyone talks about bedbugs and it is so gross. I pray every night that I never get them here. Last Monday my companion Sister Murdock from Texas who has only been out on the mission since February 22nd got her 5 day old bike jacked and the walmart when we were getting food. lucky we had an extra bike sitting around that she is now riding. me and my bike well lets just say that i have warn out my crankshaft i have used it so much. We are teaching this way cool guy he is blind and in a wheelchair because he has only one leg. He is so cool he told us that we could more then likely convert him the first night we meet with him. have a return appointment on Thursday. YAY. Had to buy a new camera because my other one fell out of my book bag and broke but good thing is i still have all my pictures :) I have a leadership training meeting this Thursday and it is all day. sometimes i really dislike meetings I just want to work and bring people to the living water. But i guess we have to have these trainings as well to become better missionaries :) I got a hair cut this morning because my hair was getting a little to long. it is still a good length though. it is fun to be a trainer and watch the missionary grow, i bet it is a little like being a mom and watching your kids grow, but in a faster view and way. We had this man this week get really upset with us and called us unkind words and it was really sad to here because it is kinda of what Christ went through and with people mocking him and calling him names. It gave me a new understanding and gratitude for the Savior and all that he has done for us. well got to run hope you enjoy the update:)
Love and miss you all,

January 16th, 2012

1. we have Carlos and Gavin getting baptized this Saturday the 21st. :)
2. Princess which is Patience cousin is getting baptized soon we are hoping for the 28th of the month but if not then the 4th of February :)
3. Chey (said like SHY) is getting baptized on the 4th of February as well.
4. Dinners with members are stressful as we are trying to be 100% obedient and have investigators and less active and recent converts over at the meals teach a lesson and have dinner all within a hour. It is sometimes stressful and would be easier if we did not have dinners with members. but they save us money so that is good:)
5. we are teaching Gavins Family about FHE and how to have those and why they are important to have. they are the nicest family ever, every day last week we were over having a lesson and they always had snacks after for us.
6. this week we were riding our bikes through this complex that is not the nicest to go through but it was day time and a lady across the way yelled out to us and we went over and had a little talk with her i have never loved someone so fast in my life. She told us that she was not loved and we told her she was by both her Heavenly Father and by us and she said you don't even know me you don't love me, but I really did she was my sister and having a lot of problems and I really wanted to help and fix them but I cant they were problems that she had to fix inside her, that we could not help her fix:(
7. there is a sister in a different ward in the same building that has her mission call to Guatemala and leaves in February so she has been going out with us a lot and it is so funny to watch her because i was the same way thing the elders. and I am sure they went home laughing and me at night when they would come and i asked all my questions. lol
Love you all,
Sister Robinson

Week 6 i think? I lost count‏

Hello,
what a week it has been we had a baptism this Saturday ( patience Williams) she was born in Africa way cool. we were tracting knocking doors in this apartment complex and we knocked on this one door and the girl let us in and we had the first lesson with her right there on the spot:) way cool. then one morning we were out for our morning jog and I got the biggest cramp in my leg and I just prayed to Heavenly Father to make it go away by the time I got to the street light (which was about 5yards away) and i promised him that if he did I would run the rest of the way home...... I got to the light and the cramp was gone so you bet ya i ran the rest of the way home:) Prayers are answered :) I had my first bible basher this week I don't ever care to have another one I have never had my testimony slammed into the ground and stomped on so bad in my life. But I picked it up dusted it off and strengthened it even more thanks to him:) We also had a appointment with a street contact and when we went over to his home he was not there but his sister was and we talked to her... she had been in a accident similar to mine 2 years ago and she has not been back to church since bc she has questions of why did the lord do this to me? We have another appointment with her soon and I am excited to help her figure her question out:) Sister Burton is stressed and have not sleep much in 48hrs :( I don't know what to do to help it has now effected her thinking and so i have had to step up and take control. But i love her so much and feel so bad for her:( Sunday we had a dinner appointment at 4 and a lesson down the road with a investigator at 5 and the member got mad bc we were not able to eat the main course because she had just started it when we got there and it was not ready when we had to leave but we have to be obedient to the 1 hour dinner rule, so we left. got to go talk to you next week tell everyone hello:) on mom and dad we only have 3 or 4 Book of Mormons left from the 12 the branch sent us:)
