June 26 Bedbugs GALORE!

We are now teaching an amazing lady from Africa, we will be giving her a baptism date this week. We had sister Miranda's funeral it was wonderful. Laura one of our investigators that we set a date with but had to make a choice of moving out of her boyfriends, and she did it this week. Yay she can be baptized on the 14 of July now:) Josh is still doing great we had to move his date back because Angela will not get her divorce final until after. So he will be getting baptized on July 21st yep my birthday best birthday gift ever as a missionary. And ready for the big news we discovered we had bedbugs and so for about a month and half the itchy bites were bedbugs They are gross gross bugs. So we had an exterminator come Saturday and get rid of them. we spent 3 hours Friday in the laundry mat drying our clothes and killing the bedbugs with the heat. Short email last news Being transferred tomorrow. Don't now where stop sending letters to 6148 n 16th ave. I will no longer be there. My new address will be 18001 N 79th ave suite C50, Glendale Az 85308. The Lord of the Rings - Good Christian Movie!

So we are meeting with this sweet lady right now that we are having a hard time with she suffers from memory loss and thinks my companions name is Amy (which it is not it is Katy), and calls the church St. Luderdale. We meet with her once a week, Oh yea she was a referral from Mesa missionaries. So this week we are meeting with her and she is telling us about what has happened this past week and she goes on to say that she got her some "christian" movies and and then proceeded to name them one was called The Last Temptation and the other was called get ready for it The Lord of the Rings. Yes she was for real and went on to say that the Lord of the Rings has the disciples in it and takes place in Jesus birth place. At this point I am all but holding in my laughter. But that is about how every lesson is with Brenda and she is just a crack up. We also meet with a  less active lady right before Brenda every week her name is Kim and Kim has been through the temple and everything but was very not prepared and talks of things she should not be. She has a drama filled life also and tells us of how her boyfriend of from Greece who she has never actually met or talked to on the phone that darn face book. hope you all have a great week.

Weeks Come and Go! June 11, 2012

Well another week has come and gone:) but a great week we had 10 member present lessons this week standard of excellence (o yay):) We are busy working and teaching we have 4 people with a baptism date and are amazing. So I got a package this week from my best friend Jennie and in her letter she asked how the picture of the day was coming that I promised her I would do, well I hate to say it but I only took pictures of events and once in a while a random picture. So this week Sister Murdock and I have both been trying to get a picture a day that is why you have some crazy random pictures. The picture with the temple I need to point out that was about 11 or so in the morning. Yep it is getting hot. We took Josh, Angela and Naja to the Phoenix temple site and that is the progress of it that is why that one is in there. I put an old picture that we took of the temple from mid march look at how fast they are getting it up. However they can get it up fast it is all the inside work that takes a while. I have decided that the "DRY HEAT" does not exist because I am soaking wet and full of water, the only difference is that when the wind blows and it does, it feels like a giant blow dryer is right in front of you. Well we are getting a new car again. Well wait I don't think i have shared with you we got the red car when we first got a vehicle and then the Zone leaders took it and gave us the truck because they use more miles and what not so we took the truck and now we have to go to the mission office after emails and get a new car. Sometimes with all these vehicle changes i think that it would be easier to just keep my 2 wheels it was mine and there was no vehicle exchange that had to happen and take up your pday:( got to run and email president:) hope y'all have a great week.

May 28,2012 A distracted Missionary

Well I have decided that everything good happens on Monday or Tuesday so by the time emails come around it is not new news and that is why things get missed:( But this week has been a crazy one Tuesday we were having dinner and a lesson with Naja a recent convert and right after the dinner the phone rang and it was brother Miranda a recent convert as well. His wife died :( sister Miranda passed away that was really sad she was out "mother hen" as she called herself. we also had a hard day on Wednesday as an after affect. Then Thursday we had zone conference which was all day 10-5, it was really good got lots of good info on how to improve the missionary work. that is all I have to say this week super tired and distracted sorry for the short email but those are the big things that have happened this week.
