April 3, 2012 Winter Tan Lines, OH MY!

Well transfer news comes in hopefully while I am typing this letter.
pictures this week: 1. missionary winter tan. by the end of summer i am going to be so dark. 2. and 3. Arizona sunsets.

this week was another missionary week:)
Kattie is an investigator we are teaching I have talked about her in past emails i think. She is amazing she was not able to watch conference at Bishop Websters house Saturday because her nephew was sick and so we went over there yesterday thinking we were going to have to show her how to watch them on her phone and we sat down with her and she said "guess what talk was my favorite". I think my mouth dropped at that point. so we proceeded to talk about conference and how we loved different talks and then we discussed our favorite talk also and so when i started talking about mine witch was Elder Hallstorms from Saturday morning he talked about how we can be active in church but less active in the gospel. anyway I started to share that with her and she began to say yea I need to do better at my book of Mormon reading i am not reading everyday like i was. I want to be both active in the church and in the gospel. Man can i just say I love this girl she is amazing. last Thursday we were having a lesson  and she just started bearing her testimony about Joseph Smith and I am thinking holy cow I wish i had a testimony like that when I was so young in the gospel. She is amazing.
So how did you like conference? what was your favorite talk? I mentioned one of my favorites but they were all so good. Who saw David  Archaleda in the MTC choir at the ever end of the last song? Yep is is going on a mission, Spanish speaking some where.  another great week awaits us lest go out and see how the lord plays a part of our life this week.
Love and miss you all,
Sister Robinson

Well to start off with good news, for the 4th of July we had 90s  weather and rain rain for most of the day it was great and Thursday was nice too we had high 90s low 100s. Best 4th of July ever better then seeing fireworks (because we had to be in by 6pm so we missed them). Have some pictures of it too, we also last Monday after emails went to this place called Cerretas and it was like a willy wank and the chocolate factory place we took some pictures of that also the Santa picture has the sign that goes with it and it is a solid chocolate Santa that stands about 5 foot tall. it is crazy:) we have been working a lot this past week we had 12 lessons with people and it was a great week.  got to run love you bye

July 2, 2012 It not Betheny Home Ward Anymore.

Well I have almost been here a week in the Manistee ranch ward. It is a lot different from Bethany Home we seem to work mostly with less actives. But that is what the ward wants us to do and that is how we can best strengthen the ward so that is what we are going to do. It is very different from Bethany home ward but I have to remember that I have to not compare and i really am starting to love the area, it still does not feel like my area yet but it is getting there. My new companion came out with sister Murdoch in fact they were MTC comps. her
name is Sister Bailey and she is from Texas (Dallas also) she is a wonderful missionary and we eat very health, mostly because she has health restrictions and it is just easier to get the same food and spend less, so that is what i do. I eat more fruits and veggies then ever before, but i love them so much. We are teaching some
investigators even a couple of families. my area is really close to Bethany home just across the freeway we live off 45th ave now and before I lived off 16th and it takes like maybe 10 minutes and I could be in Bethany home:) but cant go over there. I think about the people we were teaching over there often and it is really hard being so
close, but that is what has to happen. the weather from what i hear should be pretty cool the next couple of days low 100s YAY. we are so excited :) We are right now in a temp. home we should be moving to the really home in a few weeks. But right now we are living outside our area and across the street from the elders that also meet in our church building but we never see them. the great thing about this zone is one of the councelors in the stake is a chiropractor and adjusts missionaries for free:) had my first one this morning it was great (mom is is like Dr. Dales adjustments and i love them). Jennie guess who is my Zone Leader?????? Elder miles young ( Matthew Youngs Brother) crazy i know. well that is about all for this week. talk to you next week.

June 26 Bedbugs GALORE!

We are now teaching an amazing lady from Africa, we will be giving her a baptism date this week. We had sister Miranda's funeral it was wonderful. Laura one of our investigators that we set a date with but had to make a choice of moving out of her boyfriends, and she did it this week. Yay she can be baptized on the 14 of July now:) Josh is still doing great we had to move his date back because Angela will not get her divorce final until after. So he will be getting baptized on July 21st yep my birthday best birthday gift ever as a missionary. And ready for the big news we discovered we had bedbugs and so for about a month and half the itchy bites were bedbugs They are gross gross bugs. So we had an exterminator come Saturday and get rid of them. we spent 3 hours Friday in the laundry mat drying our clothes and killing the bedbugs with the heat. Short email last news Being transferred tomorrow. Don't now where stop sending letters to 6148 n 16th ave. I will no longer be there. My new address will be 18001 N 79th ave suite C50, Glendale Az 85308. Last the pictures of the garbage bags are all of our clothing and blankets and bedding etc. and the kids in the picture with us at the laundry mat are Rita and Patience kids they were there doing laundry when we went.

The Lord of the Rings - Good Christian Movie!

So we are meeting with this sweet lady right now that we are having a hard time with she suffers from memory loss and thinks my companions name is Amy (which it is not it is Katy), and calls the church St. Luderdale. We meet with her once a week, Oh yea she was a referral from Mesa missionaries. So this week we are meeting with her and she is telling us about what has happened this past week and she goes on to say that she got her some "christian" movies and and then proceeded to name them one was called The Last Temptation and the other was called get ready for it The Lord of the Rings. Yes she was for real and went on to say that the Lord of the Rings has the disciples in it and takes place in Jesus birth place. At this point I am all but holding in my laughter. But that is about how every lesson is with Brenda and she is just a crack up. We also meet with a  less active lady right before Brenda every week her name is Kim and Kim has been through the temple and everything but was very not prepared and talks of things she should not be. She has a drama filled life also and tells us of how her boyfriend of from Greece who she has never actually met or talked to on the phone that darn face book. hope you all have a great week.

Weeks Come and Go! June 11, 2012

Well another week has come and gone:) but a great week we had 10 member present lessons this week standard of excellence (o yay):) We are busy working and teaching we have 4 people with a baptism date and are amazing. So I got a package this week from my best friend Jennie and in her letter she asked how the picture of the day was coming that I promised her I would do, well I hate to say it but I only took pictures of events and once in a while a random picture. So this week Sister Murdock and I have both been trying to get a picture a day that is why you have some crazy random pictures. The picture with the temple I need to point out that was about 11 or so in the morning. Yep it is getting hot. We took Josh, Angela and Naja to the Phoenix temple site and that is the progress of it that is why that one is in there. I put an old picture that we took of the temple from mid march look at how fast they are getting it up. However they can get it up fast it is all the inside work that takes a while. I have decided that the "DRY HEAT" does not exist because I am soaking wet and full of water, the only difference is that when the wind blows and it does, it feels like a giant blow dryer is right in front of you. Well we are getting a new car again. Well wait I don't think i have shared with you we got the red car when we first got a vehicle and then the Zone leaders took it and gave us the truck because they use more miles and what not so we took the truck and now we have to go to the mission office after emails and get a new car. Sometimes with all these vehicle changes i think that it would be easier to just keep my 2 wheels it was mine and there was no vehicle exchange that had to happen and take up your pday:( got to run and email president:) hope y'all have a great week.
